Getting constant motivation from his parents, Amay started playing chess and is improving his game with an aim to achieve something big in the game. At Rockwoods International School, he is a student right now. He says that he wants to fulfill the dream of his parents through his hard work and determination.
Amay says that his parents motivated him to play chess and it has been four years that he has been playing chess.
Amay says that he joined the Kingdom of Chess Academy where Chandrajeet Singh Rajawat, Naman Porwal, Dhruv Dak, and Gautam Kataria are his trainers and they help him learn and improve his game. He says that his parents motivate him a lot for getting better in the game and they are his role models.
Chess has many pieces including the Rook, the Knight, the Bishop, the King, the Queen, and the Pawns. The Pawn has one point, the Bishop and Knight have three points, the Queen has nine points, the King has infinite points, and the Rook has five points. Chess helps in developing and enhancing your focus.
Amay secured the third position in the Under-9 District Chess Tournament, the second position in the Under-11 Tournament, and has participated in several such tournaments.
Amay says that he is aspiring to participate in the Under-9 State and National Tournament, the Under-11 State, and the Under-19 State Tournaments. Conveying his message to the young stars, Amay says to keep working hard, and never give up. He believes it is important to participate and achieve something in any sport of your choice. “Your hard work pays off one day” is the quote that inspires him.
