A multi-passionate boy, Atharva Nagda has a keen interest in music, especially Indian classical music. He also enjoys gaining knowledge through science books and loves swimming and playing cricket. Atharva is pursuing his dream of becoming a professional Indian classical singer through his training at Shruti – The School of Music. Along with his artistic pursuits, he is a dedicated Class 8 student at Delhi Public School (DPS), Udaipur.

The Initiation

Fond of music from a young age, Atharva first enrolled in the summer classes at Shruti – The School of Music, after which he joined their full-time professional learning program. The young talent has been learning music for the past three years under the guidance of Pt. Narendra Kumar Byawat. Along with vocal training, he has also been practicing tabla with dedication throughout his musical journey. By continuously learning from his mistakes and remaining committed to regular practice, Atharva is steadily moving closer to his goals in Indian classical music.

Gurus & Role Models

Young talent Atharva considers Pt. Narendra Kumar Byawat to be his role model, as he inspires him to understand the true meaning of dedication and discipline in the life of a musician. Atharva learns a great deal from his guru—not only about music but also about personal growth and life values. Through his guidance, Atharva continues to improve by learning from his mistakes and deeply admires the way his guru mentors and motivates him. He is also fond of the songs taught and sung by his guru, which further strengthens his love for Indian classical music. Apart from his guru, Atharva also considers his father to be his role model, as he inspires him to become a better human being. From him, Atharva has learned the importance of discipline, time management, and staying organized in life. His father continuously motivates him to remain focused and dedicated, helping him grow into a more responsible and well-organized individual. He also guides Atharva in subjects like Chemistry, Biology, and Science, which has further inspired his curiosity and love for learning. Through his father’s encouragement and teachings, Atharva has developed a deeper interest in exploring scientific concepts and understanding the world around him.

The Talent

Atharva shared that music has taught him how to balance his emotions and think with clarity. Through his musical journey, he has become calmer and developed a deeper understanding of different subjects and aspects of life.

Achievements

Under the guidance and mentorship of Pt. Narendra Kumar Byawat, Atharva successfully completed his 1st and 2nd year examinations in Indian classical music and is now preparing for his 3rd-year examination at Shruti – The School of Music. Apart from music, the young artist has also showcased excellence in academics and extracurricular activities. He participated in SIP Prodigy — India’s largest annual Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition for children — where he received the Performer Award while competing at Level 3. Talking about his academic achievements, Atharva secured 93.83% in Class 6 and 90% in Class 7 through hard work and dedication. He has also earned several medals in Olympiads. In the SilverZone International Olympiad of English, he secured 2nd position, along with winning multiple medals in NSO and IMO examinations. During the academic year 2025–2026, Atharva performed as a lead singer in the Garaj-Garaj Orchestra and received a participation certificate for his contribution. Adding to his achievements, he also won 1st prize in the Sanskrit Bharati Samuh Geet Pratiyogita, reflecting his talent, discipline, and passion across multiple fields.

A Bit More

Along with music, Atharva loves playing cricket and swimming. He is also deeply interested in reading science books and learning about different subjects, especially Abacus and astronauts. Alongside his passion for singing, he enjoys practicing Abacus and excelling in academics. A truly multi-passionate boy, Atharva beautifully balances his love for Indian classical music with his curiosity for science and knowledge. His ability to stay devoted to music while exploring the world of science and Abacus makes his personality both unique and inspiring.
