A youngstar skater from Amity International School-Noida, Bhavya started skating at the age of four and has since represented Uttar Pradesh in the Nationals and won numerous gold medals. She believes in the unique nature of skating and the importance of speed and physical strength.
Noida native Bhavya began skating when she was four years old. Her passion for skating grew slowly but steadily. Later, her father brought her to a skating institute, where she began her formal training.
Heeral Sadhu, an Asian Championship medalist, is Bhavya's idol. She is being taught how to skate by her mentor, Dev Kaushik, at Greno Banktrack Skating.
According to Bhavya, skating is a special kind of sport where speed is important and which also develops your physical strength.
For the past four years, Bhavya has represented Uttar Pradesh at the Nationals. She has also won several national gold medals. In the CBSE Nationals, she represented her school and registered medals against her name.
Bhavya is greatly inspired and motivated by the song "Ghar Layenge Gold." She spends two hours a day practicing skating, and on Saturdays and Sundays, she skates both in the mornings and in the evenings. She also enjoys reading, playing the guitar and dancing.
