A Basketball player, Dhani believes in playing her sport with a never giving up attitude. She opted for Basketball after trying swimming and other sports. She is currently studying at St. Mary's Convent Senior Secondary School and enjoying it a lot.

The Initiation

Initially not much inclined towards sports, Dhani was engaged in activities like swimming and badminton during her younger days. However, somehow she grew interested in Basketball. She is practicing Basketball at Vaikuntha Sports Academy under the guidance of her coach Nitesh.

Gurus & Role Models

Idolizing her mother as her role model, Dhani says that she has learned to stay strong and keep a never give up attitude from her mother.

The Talent

Dhani says although Basketball is a brain game and rough too, she likes it and feels homely playing it. She acknowledges that it is a team game and it cannot be played solo and requires unity among the team members in order to come out strong.

Achievements

Dhani has represented her school at the district level and has also played in the District Youth Basketball championship. She has won prizes in inter-house competitions of the Academy too.

A Bit More

Dhani advises the aspiring Basketball players to play with dedication. No matter how many times they fail, Dhani advises the aspirants to never give up and keep trying. “You will definitely succeed if you never give up and keep trying” is her favorite quote.
