Talented Dancer, Druksha Sahu has been showcasing her talent for dance from a very young age. Specializing in Kathak, she uses rhythm and expression to connect with her audience while beautifully conveying her thoughts through movement. Druksha is currently a Class V student at The Stanvard Senior Secondary School, Udaipur.
Druksha’s path into dance began under the guidance of her mother, who introduced her to the classical dance form of Kathak. Since then, she has been gracefully dancing through life, transforming her early imperfect steps into confident stage performances from a very young age.
Druksha’s mother, Mrs. Manisha Sahu, has been her first guru, guiding her in Kathak and nurturing her artistic growth. She also considers her father her role model, as his encouragement and thoughtful guidance continuously motivate her to dream bigger and pursue greater opportunities.
Though naturally shy, Druksha expresses herself powerfully through her eyes, feet, and hand movements. Dance has not only taught her the art of expression but has also built her confidence, enabling her to perform fearlessly in front of audiences.
Druksha has won trophies in school-level dance competitions and is inspired to perform on bigger stages, with the goal of representing her school at higher levels.
True to her name, which symbolizes strength and steadiness like a tree, Druksha believes in learning through joy and play. Music and dance are her constant companions, and she naturally moves with rhythm and dedication wherever she goes. Red, her favorite color, represents love and devotion—qualities she passionately expresses through Kathak. Her favorite inspirational song is the timeless Bollywood classic, “Ruk Jana Nahi, Tu Kahin Haar Ke…”
