Aabhas Shrimali, a left-arm spinner from Udaipur, began playing cricket at the Wonder Cement Cricket Academy after watching it in school tournaments. He believes cricket helps players stay fit, disciplined, and improves their personality. He advises new aspirants to focus on their game with dedication and avoid distractions to succeed.
A student in his first year in college, Aabhas started learning cricket a few years ago. He used to watch cricket in his school tournaments, got inspired, and thereafter began playing the game.
Aabhas trains at the Wonder Cement Cricket Academy under the guidance of head coach Manoj Choudhary. He says that his coach motivates and helps him improve his skills and techniques. Aabhas says that he considers his father as his role model because his father gives him total economic and mental support all the time.
Aabhas says that the most important advantage of cricket is that it helps the player stay fit and in discipline. It also helps one improve their personality.
Talking about his achievements, Aabhas says that he became the highest wicket taker in an Under-16 Challengers State Tournament. He was also the second highest wicket taker in the State Tournament. He has also participated in the Under-19 and Under-23 State Level Cricket Tournaments.
Aabhas says that he always listens to the song “Kar Har Maidan Fateh” before every match which keeps him active, motivates him to play well and win. Advising the new sport aspirants, Aabhas says that cricket is a very enticing game and it helps you stay away from all the distractions and playing this game with dedication will definitely get you success one day.
