A talented young artist, Anhad Maheshwari has been humming songs since childhood. She has always shared a deep love for music and enjoys singing while playing the sitar. Currently studying in Class VIII, Anhad is learning vocal music and sitar at Shruti The School of Music. With great passion and dedication toward music, she aspires to continue learning new songs, exploring different styles of music, and taking her musical path further in the future.
When everyone noticed her singing “sa, re, ga, ma…”, her teachers and friends encouraged her to learn music professionally, and that is when she came to know about the Shruti The School of Music. Anhad has been learning both vocals and sitar there. She has been learning sitar for the past two weeks and vocals for about a month. She enjoys her music classes and has also gained confidence in her voice through regular practice and guidance.
Vocalist Anhad considers her guru Pt. Narendra Sir as her mentor and guide, who teaches her vocals and sitar with great patience and dedication. She also looks up to the legendary Lata Mangeshkar as her role model, as she inspired Anhad to pursue music wholeheartedly in real life.
Music has helped Youngstar Anhad become more patient with her studies and daily work. It has made revising lessons easier and improved her ability to memorize subjects effectively. Through music, she has also developed greater confidence and learned to express herself more freely through the art of musical expression and language.
Her favourite song is “Lag Ja Gale…”, which deeply inspires her and connects her to emotions of melody and expression. A devotional piece that gives her strength, energy, and confidence is the “Aigiri Nandini” Durga Stotram, which motivates her to pursue her goals fearlessly and with determination. Anhad also encourages everyone to visit the Shruti School of Music to learn music or any art form of their choice in a peaceful environment with supportive mentors.
