The Initiation

Young cricketer Arsh began playing cricket at the age of 9 and has been training at the ICC cricket academy under the mentorship of Mohan Sir. Known for his disciplined approach, Arsh prefers to stay focused during practice sessions and sets an example for other young cricketers by encouraging dedication and hard work. Training at the ICC academy has been a rewarding experience for him. With access to excellent facilities, quality coaching, regular practice opportunities, and hostel accommodations, the academy provides an environment that helps young players grow both on and off the field. The structured routine and effective time management allow students to balance their training and studies while pursuing their cricketing dreams. Surrounded by like-minded aspiring cricketers, Arsh enjoys being part of a community that dreams of becoming the next Virat Kohli or MS Dhoni.

Gurus & Role Models

Young cricketer Arsh Mishra has been training under the guidance of his guru, Mohan Sir at ICC, who has been his coach and mentor since the very beginning of his cricketing path. Through his constant support, valuable advice, and constructive feedback, Mohan Sir has helped Arsh improve his performances and work on his weaknesses. Arsh credits much of his growth as a cricketer to the guidance and encouragement he has received from his mentor. Arsh’s favourite cricketer and role model is Shane Warne. He greatly admires Warne’s exceptional leg-spin bowling and his impact on the game of cricket. Inspired by one of the greatest spin bowlers in history, Arsh enjoys bowling leg-spin himself and studies Warne’s techniques and approach to the game. Shane Warne’s remarkable achievements, including his outstanding wicket-taking record and legendary career, have had a strong influence on Arsh and continue to motivate him to excel in cricket.

The Talent

Playing cricket has not only helped young cricketer Arsh stay physically fit but has also contributed significantly to his mental and emotional well-being. The sport has improved his focus, discipline, and confidence, which have positively impacted his academic performance as well. Through regular training and competition, Arsh has learned how to face challenges with determination and self-belief. Whether on the field or in the classroom, he feels more confident in presenting himself and overcoming obstacles, making cricket an important part of his overall growth and development.

Achievements

Talking about his achievements, aspiring cricketer Arsh proudly shares that he once took five wickets in a row and was also recognized as the Best Bowler in a match series. In addition, he received the Best Bowler Award from his school cricket team, a recognition that further strengthened his confidence and passion for the game. Whenever Arsh looks at his medals and awards, he feels a deep sense of pride in what he has accomplished through hard work and dedication. These achievements inspire him to keep improving his game and motivate him to pursue even greater success in the future. Above all, he dreams of making his family proud through his performances and achievements on the cricket field.

A Bit More

Arsh enjoys playing Test cricket and considers it his favourite format of the game. As a right-handed batsman and a promising young cricketer, he appreciates the unique challenges that Test cricket offers. He likes the fact that a Test match is played over five days, requiring players to maintain high levels of physical fitness, patience, and concentration. According to Arsh, even if one session does not go well, the format provides opportunities to recover and make a strong comeback, making it a true test of a player’s character and skill. During the conversation, Arsh also shared that whenever he feels demotivated or faces challenges, he recites the Hanuman Chalisa before and after matches. He believes that this practice gives him strength, positivity, and the confidence to move forward with determination. As a message to children of his age, Arsh encourages everyone to participate in sports, whether it is cricket, badminton, chess, or any other game of their choice. He believes that sports help children stay physically active, mentally strong, and disciplined. He also advises youngsters to limit their time on mobile phones and focus on developing healthy habits that contribute to a happy, balanced, and successful life.
