An inline skater, Arya has been practicing skating for more than a decade and is a multiple times district, state and national champion. His coach, Unnikrishnan, and mentor Selva Kumar have been instrumental in his success. The sport has helped Arya maintain a well-maintained body and time management skills, qualifying him for the Nationals.
At the age of three and a half years, Arya's parents signed him up for skating lessons. His enthusiasm and love for the sport grew with time, and he persisted in practicing it.
Arya is honing his skating skills at Chennai's Anna Nagar Skating Club, under the tutelage of his teacher Unnikrishnan. His achievements can be attributed to his coach. His coach provided him with one-on-one time and training sessions to help him improve as a skater. He later met his mentor Selva Kumar, a highly skilled skater, when he started inline skating. It required a lot of effort for his mentor to train him. Arya’s elder brother Avikshit, who is an Asian Champion, is the one who inspires him the most. The only reason Arya started skating was because of his brother, who also gives him on-the-spot technique improving instructions and assistance.
Arya explains that a shoe is fastened to wheels that roll on the ground during skating. Ice skating, roller skating, and speed skating are among the several forms of skating. He participates in speed skating as an inline skater. Three parts make up an inline skate: the boot, the frame, and the wheels. The carbon fiber boot's purpose is to compress your feet in order to get maximum performance. Everybody has a different frame because of physical characteristics including weight, mass, and muscular growth. The wheels are based on the skater's physique and style of skating. There are several kinds of helmets too, including ventilation and aerodynamic models.
At the Gurugram National competition last year, Arya took home the gold medal. In several competitions held at the district, state, and national levels, he has won a number of medals.
Arya has gained various benefits from the activity, including improving his time management abilities and developing a well-maintained body. He claims he qualified for the 300-meter time trial event, which was a self-start event, at the Nationals. He was forced by his tutor to practice self-starting a lot, which helped him win the Nationals. Cristiano Ronaldo's saying, "We don't like to tell our dreams, we like to show them," encourages and drives him to follow his aspirations and make them come true.
