A young Table Tennis player who has been playing the sport for the last one year, Darshil aspires to reach many achievements through his game. At the moment, he attends Delhi Public School. He says that the players should never get disheartened by failures and always focus on improving their game.
Darshil’s mother introduced him to Table Tennis which is the World’s Second Fastest Sport. And he has been playing Table Tennis for the last one year.
Darshil is practicing Table Tennis under the guidance of his coach Deepak Dangi at Vaikuntha Sports Academy. He says that his coach is an international-level player and helps him identify and rectify his mistakes and encourages him to grow as a better player. Darshil says that Deepak Dangi is not only his coach but also his inspiration.
Darshil says that Table Tennis is a mind game. One can play it as a hobby and also professionally. Professional players can aspire to play for the district, state, national, and international levels. Table Tennis helps us become active and physically fit, says Darshil.
Darshil played in a district-level Table Tennis tournament at his school and achieved the third position among all the players. Darshil participated in the Under-11 state-level table tennis tournament in Jaipur and stood in the third position in the game. When he was playing Doubles at Vaikuntha Academy, he stood in the second position with his partner.
Advising the new Table Tennis aspirants, Darshil says that never play with any negativity in your mind and also not get disappointed by the failures, rather focus on improvements. He finds motivation in the saying “Never say that I cannot do it, Just give it a try.”
