A nine-year-old student at Sangam School, Dhriti started practicing karate at the age of four. She is also a lawn tennis player and a swimmer, and her hobbies include drawing and dancing. She has been practicing karate under the guidance of her teacher, Rajni Bansali. She participated in many karate tournaments at the district, state, and international levels.
Dhriti says that dance and sketching are some of her pastimes. She swims and plays lawn tennis as well. In addition to being taught drawing by her father, she holds a green belt in karate. She began training in karate when she was four years old. She first received a white-belted karate uniform, then, after passing a belt test, she was awarded a yellow belt before moving on to a green belt.
She trained in karate under the direction of one of the greatest karate instructors, Rajni Bansali. She views her parents and instructors as her role models, as they have always encouraged and supported her, and it is thanks to them that she has achieved the highest rankings.
Dhriti says that Karate is helpful in enhancing discipline, focus, and self-defence.
She competed in karate at district, state, and international levels. In her first and second grades, she won two medals in the GK Olympiad and two medals in karate. She received a gold medal in NSO in the second grade. Dhriti took part in a poster-making competition as well, and her team came in second.
Dhriti mentions that she and her mother competed in a dance competition where they danced to the song Maiya Yashodha Tera Nandlala. Dhriti dressed as Krishna and her mother as Radha. In that tournament, they took first place. Every time she took home a medal or won a tournament, her parents and instructors were pleased for her. Dhriti is always inspired and motivated by a Sanskrit shloka of Lord Rama that her father instructed her in. When her parents wish her luck before a competition, that gives her even more determination. The Hanuman Chalisa and the shloka of Lord Ganesh are her other sources of inspiration. Her hobby is drawing, and by Aakriti Kala Sansthan, she did a wall painting of the Ramayana. She attended drawing classes in addition to receiving drawing instruction from her father. She enjoys dancing as well, and she has participated in competitions at school.
