Divij, a boxer from Udaipur, Rajasthan, has been practicing the sport for several years. He started with Karate and later learned other sports like Kickboxing and Boxing. He advises new aspirants to engage in sports alongside studies.

The Initiation

Divij Solanki has been playing Boxing and Kickboxing for the last seven years. He says that one of his friends suggested he pursue the sport and thereafter he began practicing the sport regularly. He initially played Karate and then, with time, he learned other sports like Kickboxing and Boxing.

Gurus & Role Models

Divij practices Boxing and Kickboxing under the guidance of his coach Pankaj Choudhary at RCKK Martial Arts Academy. He says that his coach is his role model because he motivates him in every fight he plays.

Achievements

Divij was a gold medalist in the National Kickboxing Tournament. He won a bronze medal in the State Boxing Tournament. He is also a state-level participant in Karate and Wushu. Divij also won the Maharana Fateh Singh Award in 2022 and the Kids Achiever of the Year Award for his national tournament win.

A Bit More

Divij gets inspired by the song “Todun Taak” which tells the journey of an old boxing player. He advises all the youngsters to get themselves engaged in any sport along with their studies in order to keep themselves fit and healthy.
