Young sportsperson Eeshvi Kothari developed a passion for basketball at the young age of eight. Apart from sports, she also has a keen interest in drawing and art, allowing her to express her creativity beyond the basketball court. Thirteen-year-old Eeshvi Kothari is a Class 8 student at Rockwoods International School (Rockwoods High School), Udaipur. Alongside her academics, she is pursuing professional basketball training at Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon, Udaipur, where she continues to develop her skills and passion for the sport.

The Initiation

Initially stepping onto the basketball court with the goal of increasing her height, young star Eeshvi Kothari began playing the sport at the age of eight. Over time, her curiosity transformed into a genuine passion for basketball. Determined to refine her skills and pursue the game seriously, she joined Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon in Udaipur, where she has been receiving professional training and steadily polishing her skills as a promising basketball player.

Achievements

Her team secured 1st position at the district level, and as a result, five players, including Eeshvi, were selected to represent their team at the state-level championship. Competing at the state level for the first time in 2026, Eeshvi and her team delivered a commendable performance, securing 5th position. This milestone marked an important step in her sporting growth, boosting her confidence and motivating her to continue striving for excellence in basketball. Beyond sports, Eeshvi has also showcased her artistic talents. Representing her school in a state-level drawing competition, she successfully qualified for the first round, highlighting her creativity and versatility beyond the basketball court.
