Goresh Bairwa is a Commerce Student in Class 12th at Khalsa Public Senior Secondary School, Udaipur. He has a special interest in baseball, a sport he learned and honed entirely through his school’s training programs. Goresh was drawn to baseball because it is versatile and adaptable—it can be played on smaller grounds and requires fewer players, making it accessible while still challenging.
Goresh Bairwa attributes his success to his Physical Training instructor, Rai Singh Devda, who introduced him to baseball and guided his training from the early stages. Tournament practice often took place at MB College, where PTI Devda ensured rigorous training and fostered discipline, skill, and motivation. His dedication inspired Goresh to pursue baseball seriously and achieve excellence at the school level.
Playing Baseball has not only enhanced Goresh’s physical strength and running ability, but it has also contributed to better mental health. The sport demands agility, precise throwing, and quick reflexes, all of which improve focus and coordination. The repeated practice of sliding and throwing sharpens both skills and stamina, making it a holistic sport for developing young athletes.
Goresh’s school fielded two teams for a baseball tournament that included participation from multiple schools, including MDS School. The Under-14 team traveled to Salumbar for the competition and reached the finals, ultimately winning the gold medal. Following his tournament performance, Goresh was honored at school, receiving medals and prizes. Beyond sports, he also participated in competitive exams organized by his school, such as Bajaj Capital Olympiad, securing 2nd–3rd positions in various subjects.
Goresh speaks highly of Khalsa Public School, which consistently motivates its students, providing opportunities for tournaments, sports events, and recreational activities like picnics. He particularly appreciates the encouragement and guidance of his PTI instructor, who treats students with care and helps them excel. Goresh encourages all young students to actively participate in sports, emphasizing that starting at the school level provides a strong foundation for future success. Early practice not only builds skills but also instills confidence, discipline, and a lifelong passion for sports.
