A basketball player, Harsh has been playing the sport for eight years. Harsh finds basketball a game of strength, helping improve knee strength and physical and mental strength. Harsh advises new aspirants to participate in basketball for its long-term benefits.
After he got selected in his school basketball team, Harsh developed his interest in the game and has been playing since then and moving towards improvements. For the initial four years, he practiced under M.K. Sharma. After that, he shifted to Jaisalmer Basketball Academy and for one year he has been practicing under Usha Acharaj in Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon.
Harsh says that his very first mentor was his first coach M.K Sharma, for he had been training Hrash from the beginning and supporting him in his goals. One of his co-players Rhythm Pawar has been an ideal to Harsh and he has learned a lot from him. Currently, he is being trained under Usha Acharaj in Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon, Udaipur. Harsh says that his role models are his parents and coach for their support and guidance throughout. In terms of basketball, he considers Devin Booker as his role model because of his fundamentals.
Harsh says basketball is a game of strength. It helps people improve their knee strength and stay physically and mentally strong.
Harsh says that in the eight years of his basketball journey, he has participated in Nationals four times and became the gold medalist in one of the four tournaments. He has been participating in State Championships for many years and winning gold medals for the last two years.
To the current generation who desires to play basketball, Harsh advises them to participate in the game as it has a lot of benefits in the longer run. “No pain, no gain” is his favorite quote that motivates him.
