A young Actor and Musician, Hiren Jotwani began performing professionally at the age of five. He has appeared in reality shows, theatre productions, short films, and has released original music including a full EP and is preparing for the release of an upcoming album. Guided by his mother and inspired by icons like Shah Rukh Khan and rapper Calm, Hiren continues to balance academics with his artistic career.
Hiren Jotwani, a 10th-grade student at Rockwoods School in Udaipur, has been immersed in the world of performances since early childhood. A natural entertainer, Hiren began acting professionally at the age of five, but the spark was ignited even earlier—when he was just three. His mother was the first to recognize his flair for drama, which set him on a path of creative exploration that continues to this day. Child Artist Hiren's professional career began with appearances in popular reality shows such as Sabse Bada Kalakaar, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, and India’s Best Dramebaaz. He has also acted in short films like ‘Samasya’ and performed in numerous stage productions. Notably, he was part of the play ‘Peela Phool’, penned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and took part in powerful theatrical presentations about the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. These shows toured across India, with Hiren performing in over 20–30 cities. While acting has remained his core passion, Hiren has also found another creative outlet through music. Inspired by the songs he listened to, he began writing and composing his own. He has released seven original tracks on YouTube, including a full EP titled ‘Hausla’. His music journey continues to evolve, with an upcoming single titled Aaj Bhi—a collaboration with Harshit Paliwal—scheduled for release soon. Additionally, Hiren is working on a full-length album featuring 11 songs, which will also be available on Spotify.
When it comes to acting, Hiren draws deep inspiration from Shah Rukh Khan—admiring his craft, discipline, and charismatic presence. In the world of music, especially rap, he looks up to 'Calm' from the duo ‘Seedhe Maut’ for his lyrical intensity and unwavering dedication. Hiren credits much of his growth to his strong support system. His mother has been his constant pillar of support—guiding him through both acting and music. In fact, during his reality show days, she wrote and helped him rehearse different scripts and skits for each episode, often preparing original material tailored to auditions and performances. Another key figure in his artistic journey has been Ashok Banthia, the director of Peela Phool and the Jallianwala Bagh stage play, who mentored him in theatre.
Hiren’s talent has not gone unnoticed. He won the prestigious Sabse Bada Kalakaar trophy and was crowned Mr. Udaipur in 2016. Over the years, he has earned accolades in both acting and singing. His versatility has landed him in commercials, including one for Amazon, and on-screen films alongside legendary actors like Irrfan Khan in ‘Angrezi Medium’. On various reality shows, he has shared the stage with Bollywood icons such as Akshay Kumar, Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi, and Raveena Tandon, among others.
Despite being deeply engaged in acting, music, and live performances, Hiren remains committed to his studies. He acknowledges the invaluable support of his teachers and his mother in helping him strike a balance between academics and his artistic pursuits. One of the songs Hiren has penned—“Mujhe aati teri yaadein hain kyun…”—holds special significance for him and serves as a personal source of motivation. To aspiring young talents, Hiren offers this advice: "Stay focused, keep moving forward, and never lose sight of your passion." With a strong foundation, unwavering passion, and a creative mind, Hiren Jotwani continues to shine as a multifaceted young artist—poised to leave a mark in both the worlds- entertainment and music.
