Humera Khan is a dynamic Class 10 student at The Stanvard Senior Secondary School, Udaipur, Rajasthan. A state-level judo player, district-level gold medalist in wrestling, and passionate archery player, she is continuously shaping herself into a versatile athlete. Through sports, she is not only exploring different games but also discovering her own strength, discipline, and potential.

The Initiation

Humera began playing judo at the age of 11 while studying in Class 6. What started as a simple hobby gradually transformed into a deep passion. Judo brings her immense happiness while also keeping her physically fit and mentally active. Over time, the sport has become an essential part of her life, helping her perform everyday activities with confidence, energy, and strength.

Humera says that her greatest inspiration is her mother. Being a gymnast herself, her mother has always encouraged her children to learn and explore different sports. Humera shared that her mother inspires not only her but also her sisters to keep learning, growing, and becoming better in every aspect of life. She strongly believes that sports help a person discover creativity, confidence, discipline, and the ability to become a stronger and better human being.

Judo is a sport that demands focus, consistency, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. Staying fit is essential for the game, and in return, the sport itself builds fitness, courage, and inner strength. Through her dedication and regular practice, Humera has developed excellent core strength and refined skills in the sport. Humera shared that her coach, Susheel Sen, guides and trains her professionally. Under his mentorship, she continues to polish her techniques and improve herself every day. She practices at Malla Talai, where she works hard to become better with each session.

Humera proudly shared that she has won a gold medal in judo at the district level. Along with this, she has also earned a gold medal in wrestling at the district level and is a passionate district-level archery player.
