Jahnavi, a passionate basketball player, began playing the game early in her childhood. Jahnavi advises new aspirants to join basketball for its mental and physical health benefits, as well as the opportunity to make new friends and build positive relationships.
Jahnavi says that she was inclined towards basketball since her childhood and used to watch national and international matches on television. She finally began playing basketball with the help of her school PTI when she saw her school seniors playing the game while she was in fifth standard. She trains at Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon. Jahnavi played her first state match at the age of ten years and has always worked on improving her game since then.
Jahnavi gets trained under coach Usha Acharaj in Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon in Udaipur. She says that her coach always motivates all the students and helps them become better players. She says that Stephen Curry is her role model and she gets inspired by his basketball moves and skills.
Jahnavi believes basketball is a sport that helps people improve their mental and physical health.
Jahnavi participated in the District Championship while she was in ninth standard. She also participated in the State Basketball Championship and secured the third position. Jahnavi says that she also participated in a National Level Basketball Tournament and her team secured an all India seventh position.
Jahnavi wants to advise youngsters to join basketball as it will help them with their mental and physical health. Basketball will also help them make new friends and build positive relationships. The statement “Give your hundred percent without worrying about the result” always motivates her a lot.
