Lakshyaraj has participated in many tournaments. He advises new aspirants to follow their passion and focus on winning in life and chess.
Getting fascinated by the players playing chess when he visited The Chess Club during his first standard, Lakshyaraj began playing the sport.
Lakshyaraj says that the International Arbiter and National Chess Instructor, Vikas Sahu at St. Anthony’s Senior Secondary School is his coach. His coach has supported him and encouraged him to play in tournaments and achieve his goals. Mikhail Tal, the great chess player, is his role model because of his awesome sacrificing moves on the board.
Lakshyaraj says that chess is a very brilliant game. It makes your imagination powerful, enhances your calculation power, and makes your mind stronger.
Lakshyaraj participated in and became the Under-11 State Champion. He also became the Under-15 Lake City Champion and has participated in many other such tournaments.
Lakshyaraj advises the sports aspirants that, if you have a passion or talent, you should always follow it. Just go for your passion and the outcome will always be in your favor. “In life or in chess, always look for a win” is the thought that motivates him a lot.
