Fond of playing karate, Pragnay Pandey started learning the sport at the age of 5. Along with karate, he is also passionate about swimming and has been learning it with great interest and dedication. Pragnay aspires to become a cricketer when he grows up, pursuing his dreams with enthusiasm and determination.
Driven by his passion for karate, Pragnay’s parents enrolled him in karate classes at the young age of 5. While learning karate, he enjoyed the experience and actively participated in various activities. However, as he explored different hobbies and interests, his karate practice gradually came to a halt. Being a sports enthusiast and someone who loves outdoor activities, Pragnay developed a keen interest in swimming. Recognising his passion, his father enrolled him in swimming classes, where he began learning the sport with dedication. Pragnay shares that he learned valuable lessons from his swimming teacher, which helped him improve his skills and develop a deeper appreciation for the sport.
Sharing about his role model and inspiration, young sports enthusiast Pragnay Pandey shares that his love for cricket has inspired him to dream of becoming a cricketer when he grows up. Rising cricket star Vaibhav Suryavanshi deeply inspires him; along with legendary players like MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, he dreams of playing cricket with the same passion, dedication, and excellence as his idols.
A multidisciplinary sports enthusiast, Pragnay shares that swimming and karate have not only contributed to his physical growth but have also enhanced his mental sharpness. He believes that these activities have helped him perform better in academics as well as participate actively in co-curricular activities.
Karate enthusiast Pragnay shares that after returning to karate following a long break, he participated in a tournament where he had not even expected to win a bronze medal. However, with his dedication and determination, he surprised himself by securing a gold medal. Along with karate, Pragnay has also achieved success in swimming competitions. He shares that during one of his swimming tournaments, the constant support and encouragement from his parents and sister motivated him to give his best. Their words, “Come on, you can do it,” filled him with confidence and helped him secure the first position in the competition.
Sharing more about his interest in music, Youngstar Pragnay Pandey shares that he enjoys listening to bhajans dedicated to Lord Hanuman, especially the powerful and calming Hanuman Chalisa. Sharing a message for young learners, Pragnay says that he believes children should explore multiple hobbies and interests while maintaining a balance in their routine. He suggests listening to bhajans in the morning and enjoying songs during the afternoon or evening. He also encourages students to prioritise their studies after returning from school and complete their academic responsibilities before engaging in other activities.
