A young chess player studying in St. Anthony’s Senior Secondary School, Prakhar Mali has been playing the game for eight years. His team won a gold medal in a district level chess tournament.
Prakhar started learning chess at the academy, ‘Chess in Lakecity’, eight years ago. He initially found the sport very fascinating and later joined the chess academy to explore his interest.
Prakhar says that his mentor, Vikas Sahu is a perfect coach who mentors and guides students towards their goals. Besides, Prakhar is highly inspired by Magnus Carlsen - The World Champion.
