Inspired by his chess playing grandfather, Rudransh Bhardwaj has been playing the game for the past two years. He is a student at St. Anthony’s Senior Secondary School.

Gurus & Role Models

Vikas Sahu and Nilesh, Rudransh's instructors, are teaching him the game of chess. They encourage him to practice every day and assist him in learning chess tactics, openings, and other strategies. He thinks highly of both Hikaru Nakamura and Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa because they are both skilled players who only accept draws after doing the calculations.

The Talent

According to Rudransh, chess improves knowledge and sharpens the mind.

Achievements

Rudransh's greatest accomplishment was his first-ever participation in the CBSE 2023 games, when his team finished in sixth place.
