An enthusiastic cricketer who got inspired by his brother to play cricket, Sanyam feels that it is more a game of mental strength. He is a student of Witty International School. He has played in a few tournaments and desires to become a good player one day.
Sanyam Jakhar has been playing cricket for the past four years. He used to see his brother going to cricket practice which inspired him to join the field as well. He started playing cricket as a medium pacer and later became a batter.
Sanyam says that his now coach, KT sir who used to train his brother as well is his guru. He is also inspired by the Indian cricket star Virat Kohli.
Sanyam says that we should not take much pressure while playing cricket. He feels that cricket is 10% physical and 90% a mental game. He feels that playing cricket keeps one mentally and physically fit and helps in thinking practically. Sanyam says that playing sports also provides career opportunities in the government sector and also as a coach.
Sanyam has represented Udaipur at the state level and the first time their team came fourth. The second year, he became captain of the Udaipur team and that year they came third. He also went to Moradabad to play at the DNS Cricket Academy and was awarded as the Best Bowler there.
