Bhinder resident Sonu Ram Meena, is a budding cricket player. He is undergoing training at Unique Cricket Academy. He advises new aspirants to take up sports alongside studies.

The Initiation

Sonu Ram Meena from Bhinder, began playing cricket two years ago when he was in tenth standard. He initially used to play cricket near his residence with his neighbors and thereafter, with the guidance of his elder brother, he joined Unique Cricket Academy in Udaipur to practice and hone his skills.

Gurus & Role Models

Sonu Ram is getting trained under his coach Shahrukh at the Unique Cricket Academy. He says that his coach teaches the students all the basics of the game and motivates each player equally. Considering Hardik Pandya as his role model, Sonu says that he aspires to become an all-rounder cricketer like him.

Sonu Ram believes that if one plays cricket, it will help them in increasing their mental and physical strength and will also help them enhance their stamina.

Achievements

Sonu Ram has won trophies and medals in various district level cricket tournaments. He has also participated and won in various school level tournaments, state level cricket tournaments, and more.
