Tanveer Pathan used to watch cricket since his childhood and began playing the sport after watching his elder brother playing.
Tanveer practices cricket at the Unique Cricket Academy and has improved his game over the years under the guidance of his coach Shahrukh. Tanveer considers Brett Lee - the legendary Australian Fast Bowler as his role model.
Talking about the benefits of cricket, Tanveer says that this sport has a lot of benefits like improving your fitness and can help you gain significant recognition.
Tanveer has participated in Under-16 and Under-19 School National Cricket Tournaments. He has also participated in an Under-19 District Cricket Tournament for Pali district and also gained the title of Best Bowler in the Challengers Trophy.
Tanveer says that he loves reading books in his free time and a song “O Paalanhaare” from the movie Lagaan inspires him when he is stressed out. Conveying his message to the new cricket aspirants, Tanveer says that you should practice the sport daily as that will help you play well and you may be able to represent the country one day.
