The Initiation

Thereafter, she started developing interest in Karate and has been practicing since then.

Gurus & Role Models

Tanvi learns Karate from Pankaj Chaudhary at RCKK (Ramesh Chaudhary Karate Kendra) Academy of Martial Arts. Just like any other kid, Tanvi’s parents are her role models.

The Talent

Briefing about her art, Tanvi says that martial arts (Karate) is about learning self defense. The player needs to speak the word “Khyaa” during the fight, she says. Basically, Karate has four styles namely, Shotokan, Wado-ryu, Shito-ryu, and Goju-ryu; and Shotokan is the most difficult among all the four.

Tanvi received a silver medal in the 2nd and 3rd District KickBoxing Championship, a bronze medal in the Maharana Pratap Cup Open National Karate Championship, another bronze medal in the Bhagat Singh Cup All India Karate Championship, a gold medal in the Inter Karate Championship, and another bronze Medal in the 1st Udaipur Martial Arts Open State Karate Championship.

A Bit More
