Reflecting on his initiation into the world of quizzing, Yatharth recounts the beginnings of his journey in primary school. It was during these formative years that he first engaged in the quiz competitions held by his school, sparking a curiosity that would ultimately shape his path toward MUNs. His passion for exploring geopolitics and global affairs blossomed, leading him to join the MUN Club in middle school. Yatharth shares that his school has been incredibly supportive, encouraging active participation in various MUNs. His debut in the MUN world came with a triumphant win of the Best Delegate award at his school's event.
Inspiration plays a vital role in Yatharth's journey. He draws immense motivation from the legacies of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and Lee Kuan Yew, the first Prime Minister of Singapore. Both figures, known for their determination to revolutionize their respective countries, fuel Yatharth’s ambition to make a meaningful impact in the world. On a more personal note, he looks up to his grandfather and parents, who have always encouraged his inquisitive nature. His grandfather's discussions on geopolitics and current affairs have instilled a thirst for knowledge in Yatharth, while his teachers have guided him through complex topics throughout his MUN experiences.
With immense pride, Yatharth shares that he has participated in 11 MUNs, winning 9 of them. Moreover, he was chosen by his school to compete in an international quiz competition, where he secured an admirable second place.
