Driven by a keen interest in the sport, his parents enrolled him at the Indian Martial Art and Self Defence Academy, Indore, where he is honing his skills under professional guidance. As a young martial arts enthusiast, Jaiveer inspires children of his age by demonstrating that consistency, dedication, and perseverance are the keys to achieving success in any field.
Fond of Karate from a young age, Jaiveer Jethwa took a professional step towards mastering the sport a year ago by joining the Indian Martial Art and Self Defence Academy in Indore. Since then, he has been training regularly and continuously improving his abilities.
Reflecting on his inspirations, Jaiveer says that Bruce Lee is his role model, as he played a significant role in motivating him to pursue Karate seriously. He greatly admires Bruce Lee’s skill, discipline, speed, and unwavering dedication to martial arts, qualities that inspire him to work harder in his own training.
Karate enthusiast Jayant Chaturvedi shares that practicing martial arts has helped him develop a strong physique and build both physical strength and mental discipline. Speaking about martial arts, young achiever Jayant shares that karate mainly consists of two disciplines—kata and kumite. In Kata, players perform a sequence of synchronized karate techniques and movements that simulate combat against imaginary opponents, showcasing precision, balance, and control. Kumite, on the other hand, is the sparring aspect of karate, involving punches, kicks, and various fighting techniques in a competitive format. According to Jayant, the sport has played a significant role in shaping his overall personality and confidence.
Youngstar Jaiveer shares that he has won two bronze medals at the state level and two gold medals at the district level. These achievements reflect his dedication, hard work, and commitment to continuous improvement. Looking ahead, he aspires to compete at higher levels, make his parents proud, and continue progressing on his path as a martial artist.
Jaiveer shares that under the guidance and mentorship of Suryansh Sir and Diljeet Ma’am at the Indian Martial Art and Self Defence Academy, he continues to enhance both his skills and understanding of martial arts. He also enjoys the physical workouts and outdoor activities that are an integral part of his training routine, helping him stay active, fit, and healthy. Furthermore, Jaiveer says that whenever he feels demotivated by life’s challenges or nervous before a competition, he remembers Meldi Mata. Thinking of her gives him strength, confidence, and a positive mindset, enabling him to perform with greater focus and determination. Sharing a message for children of his age, Jaiveer encourages them to participate in sports and physical activities rather than spending excessive time on mobile phones and screens. He believes that outdoor activities and sports contribute significantly to both physical fitness and mental well-being, helping children become healthier, more confident, and more disciplined individuals.
