Jatin is practicing speed skating under the guidance of his coach Chandan Chourasia at the Team Tigress Academy. He got inspiration from his brother who is also a skater and medalist in skating. His brother always motivates him to practice hard. His paternal aunt supports and encourages him the most in his house.
Jatin says that there are various types of skating like roller ball skating, speed skating, etc. He is interested in speed skating to manage and improve his speed and timing. Jatin tells us that various tracks are available for speed skating. According to Jatin, Speed Skating makes us agile and our legs do not hurt. It improves muscles and so he enjoys speed skating.
Jatin won gold and silver medals in the state tournaments within two years of practice and also won silver medals two times in 500m skating. In 15kms Road Speed Skating he won a gold medal. He has also participated in several national level tournaments. He also won medals in Drawing and competed in the GK Olympiad.

He vents his anger only while skating and tries to control it through skating. Jatin advises everyone that we do not become successful at once. We fall many times but we should not give up and keep trying.
