A young talented table tennis player, Kajal excels in push and counter. She follows the advice of her coach to never give up after a loss and is pursuing her academics from St. Patrick's Vidya Bhawan. She encourages youngsters to play sports for their physical and mental well-being.
Kajal began playing Table Tennis when she was in eighth standard encouraged by her coach Amit Thanvi who has always supported her.
Kajal says that she practices table tennis at the Railways Academy and trains under Amit Thanvi. Her coach motivates her and teaches her to never get disheartened after the match and always bounce back strong. She says that her coach Amit Thanvi is also her role model and she strongly admires him.
Kajal says that there are a lot of techniques in Table Tennis such as Forehand Drive, Backhand Drive, Backhand Counter and many more. Footwork is the most important while playing table tennis and one needs to be patient and confident while playing the game.
Kajal participated in the school national games that happened in Madhya Pradesh. She also went to Jammu to participate in senior nationals.
To the youngsters, Kajal says that sports offer a lot of benefits like physical fitness, patience, and strengthened mental ability. Therefore, every youngster should engage themselves in any kind of sport along with their studies. She believes in the saying that “Hard work, dedication, and patience is the only key to success.”
