Kamakshi is a youngstar who began learning chess at the young age of five years and aspires to go miles with the game. She says that chess helps in the development of the brain and helps you strengthen your focus and improve in studies as well.
Kamakshi says that looking at the benefits of chess, her mother introduced her to the game when she was five years old.
Kamakshi is learning chess at the Kingdom of Chess Academy where Chandrajeet Singh Rajawat, Dhruv Dak, and Naman Porwal are her trainers. When it comes to role models, she says that her parents help her a lot and they are someone she looks up to.
Explaining chess, Kamakshi says that when the King gets a check, we can block the King. And if the Bishop is near the King, then we can move the Bishop to his block or save the King. She says that this game sharpens one's focus and helps in brain development.
Kamakshi participated in and won two matches held in Kota. She also participated and won two matches in the Under-9 Chess Tournament.
