Kavyansh Nagda began his chess journey at the tender age of five. A student of St. Gregorios School, Udaipur, he was drawn to the game for its ability to sharpen the mind and challenge thinking.
He is currently honing his skills at Chess in Lakecity under the guidance of his coach, Vikas Sahu, who not only teaches him strategic moves but also helps clarify complex concepts and doubts. Inspired by chess prodigy and world champion Gukesh D., Kavyansh aspires to one day compete at the global level, just like his role model.
For Kavyansh, chess is more than a game—it's a mental discipline. He enjoys mastering various openings and attack strategies, constantly working to improve his tactical edge on the board.
Kavyansh secured First Place in a chess competition held at Urban Square Mall and has earned several trophies and medals in various other tournaments, showcasing his growing prowess in the game.
