An ultra marathon runner, Kian Joshi is presently studying in fifth grade at Apollo International School. He has been practicing running for two years and four months, constantly improving his timing and other athletic skills. Kian has participated in numerous marathons and won medals, including a Pink 10 kms marathon and several other ultra marathons. He also runs with the army and has also won a silver medal in state level Karate competition. He advises other youngstars to work hard and have confidence in their goals.
Kian says that he was inspired to start running after observing other students doing so. He began running with his parents in 2021 and soon was able to run 21 kms. He enjoys running since it's healthy for him. Kian has been training for the past two years and four months, and is continuously improving on his timing.
Under the guidance of his coaches Dilip and Pallav, Kian participates in athletics, and his coach is an award winner at the national level. His coach gives him excellent directions and prepares him for doing better. His goal is to emulate and outperform the legendary runner Usain Bolt, whom he views as his role model. He draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including his group members and the quick runners.
He explains that there are several activities in athletics, such as running, long jump, javelin throw, standing board jump, etc. Kian claims that his strength and timing get better the more he trains in running. His jumps and running splits are also becoming better day by day.
Kian has competed in several marathons, including the Adani and Ahinsa marathons, and has taken home multiple medals. He recently took part in a 10-kilometer Pink Marathon and finished first. He loves running alongside the army personnel as well. Additionally, he took home a silver medal at a state Karate tournament. With his dedication and preparation, he has also finished two ultra marathons.
Kian successfully balances his academics and athletics by setting priorities and managing his time well. The song "Har haal mein pana hai" and goddess Durga's mantra serve as sources of motivation for him. Kian counsels other young athletes to put in a lot of effort in their chosen sports in order to succeed. He advises doing anything you want to do with confidence and a lot of hard effort. He talks about his fastest times—50 minutes for a 10-kilometer race and two hours for a 21-kilometer event.
