Neel Bharadiya, a student of St. Anthony’s School began playing chess after being inspired by a friend. He has been learning the tricks of the game at the ‘Chess in Lakecity’ academy for the last two years.
Neel took to chess after being inspired by one of his friends and has been learning about the game since then.
Giving the credit to his chess coach Vikas Sahu, Neel says that his coach has helped him a lot throughout his chess journey and has taught him various winning tricks to improve his game. Neel says that the amazing sacrificing style of Mikhail Tal inspires him a lot and he considers him as his role model.
Neel believes that chess helps in improving your concentration power and this eventually helps you in your studies too.
Neel participated in the Holi Cup in 2022, and also won a prize in the West Zone Chess Championship in 2022.
