Gurus & Role Models

Sruti is practising yoga under the guidance of her mentor R. Deepa Rani at Dheepam Yoga Center in Chennai. Her guru is a professional yoga trainer and Sruti is thankful to her effort and assistance. Her guru teaches her thoroughly and has taught her different yoga asanas like a daughter. She considers Yoga Vaishnavi as her role model as she is a national yoga player, who has represented Tamil Nadu in national yoga competitions and won a gold medal for Tamil Nadu. Yoga Vaishnavi holds six Guinness World Records and also wants to represent India in international games, which inspires Sruti a lot.

The Talent

A Bit More

Sruti manages her studies and yoga in a balanced way and also practises hard for perfecting the yoga poses in order to achieve the world records. The quote “Yoga is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are.” inspires and motivates her the most. She advises all kids to work hard in silence and let your success make noise. Achieving your goals takes a long time but consistency and hard work will help you achieve it, says Sruti.
