A district level player, left arm orthodox spinner, Rakshit Namdev has been going to the Master Blaster Cricket Academy to practice his game. At the moment, he attends Bansal Public School. He has played in Under-16 tournaments and was also adjudged Best Left Arm Orthodox Bowler and Best Bowler.
Rakshit was inspired to begin his career in sports by his father, who was a cricket player as well. He has enjoyed playing cricket since his childhood and hopes to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming a professional cricket player.
He practices cricket at MBCA under the guidance of four coaches: Abhimanyu, Prashant, Kartik, and Saquib. They are all excellent teachers who make sure each student has fun while participating in the game. Being an all-rounder, he looks up to Ravindra Jadeja for his bowling, batting, and fielding prowess.
Rakshit says participating in sports benefits in many aspects, including socially, practically, physically, and cognitively. It also diverts the mind into physical activity.
Rakshit was selected to participate in the Under-16 district competition. In a cricket event, he won the title of Best Left Arm Orthodox Bowler. In addition, he received awards for Best Bowler in a district-level competition and Man of the Match in another.
The song by Rahgir “Ek Kachha Ghada Hu Mein” inspires and motivates him a lot.
