A Lawn Tennis player and talented youngstar, Samridhi started playing at the age of twelve and has played at the District level. She is also excelling and showing her talent in other activities too.
Samridhi has been playing Lawn Tennis for the last one year and got the inspiration to play this sport from her mother. She joined an academy at the Field Club. She is also interested in painting and drawing and has participated in many competitions.
Samridhi has been learning Lawn Tennis since last one year from an academy at Field Club under the guidance of her guru Mohan sir. Her role model is her father as she learned to do what you say and prove yourself. She also learned to be disciplined and not to shy away from doing any work.
Samridhi shares that Lawn Tennis is a sport that basically involves a ball and racquet. It is a game of sets and points are counted accordingly. Playing lawn tennis increases stamina and teamwork ability and we learn by helping each other.
Samridhi has won the First Prize in the District Level competition of Lawn Tennis. She has also participated in many painting and drawing competitions.
Samridhi says that a book ‘Life’s Amazing Secrets’ inspires her a lot in which it is described that there are four tiers of life- social, spiritual, personal and work life. Her hobbies are to play lawn tennis, read and write books, write poems and drawing and painting. Samridhi advises upcoming youngsters to be consistent in practice as it is the key to success. We should play sports and reduce our screen time, she says. Sports are helpful in building stamina, confidence, enhancing teamwork and feeling of appreciation so it is important to play a sport. She finds inspiration in the saying “Man ke haare haar hai aur man ke jeete jeet.”
