Sandeep Thapa is a dedicated student and the Vice Captain of the Mirabai House at Bhabha Public School, Jaipur. He is a dynamic and spirited volleyball player, who finds the sport not merely a game, but a source of joy, discipline, vitality, and teamwork. Volleyball keeps him physically active while instilling in him the values of commitment, coordination, and perseverance.
Sandeep’s Volleyball fondness began during the sports periods in his school and due to friendly matches in his locality. What started as a simple pastime gradually transformed into a deep-rooted passion. However, the greatest inspiration behind his love for the sport is his father, himself a remarkable volleyball player. Watching his father’s dedication and sportsmanship ignited within Sandeep a desire to pursue the game with sincerity and excellence.
For Sandeep, his father remains his ultimate role model. He admires his father’s exceptional skill in volleyball and, more importantly, his sportsmanship. This admiration for his father inspires him daily to play with integrity and to represent his father’s legacy with pride and honor.
Recognizing that passion requires direction, Sandeep expresses heartfelt gratitude to his mentor and Physical Education teacher, Rawal Sir. Under his expert guidance, Sandeep learned the fundamental techniques, essential skills, and the discipline necessary to excel in volleyball. This mentorship shaped not only his performance on the court but also his character as a disciplined athlete.
Beyond the volleyball court, Sandeep has demonstrated remarkable academic and co-curricular excellence. He has served as the Vice Captain of the Red House and has earned certificates in esteemed competitions, including debates and volleyball tournaments. Academically, he secured Rank 1 in Mathematics in his school, reflecting his dedication and balanced approach toward both sports and studies.
Spiritually inclined and mentally resilient, Sandeep finds strength in chanting, “Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare.” He draws motivation from the song “End of Beginning,” and turns to the sacred Hanuman Chalisa during moments of discouragement. These practices help him maintain focus, inner calm, and unwavering determination. Having been a part of Bhabha Public School since nursery, Sandeep attributes his academic and personal growth to the institution. He has witnessed the school’s remarkable development over the years and feels deeply connected to its progress. To the new students, he offers thoughtful advice: never be afraid of challenges, do not lose heart in difficult times, avoid blind trust, and cultivate a broad and open-minded perspective toward life. Through discipline, devotion, and determination, Sandeep Thapa continues to stride forward, balancing academics, athletics, and values with admirable grace.
