Sarthak Sen has been playing and practicing Basketball for the past three years. Previously, he lived in Indore and played basketball at Skye Luxuria, a basketball academy. Sarthak mentions that he used to play football too, but when he moved to Indore, he had no exposure or training in that sport. He then switched to basketball in order to keep his body fit and healthy. Luckily, the basketball coach was his neighbor, and when he witnessed the game, he began to admire it.
Sarthak began practicing basketball at Skye Luxuria under the direction of his instructors. The coaches were quite kind and supportive. They used to train him really hard since they wanted him to succeed and improve every day. The coaches provided him with excellent training and always encouraged him to improve. He wanted to speed up his training, but the trainers advised him to take it slowly and steadily to establish his base. He sees his coaches as role models since they taught him how to play and accomplish things in his life. They always wish the best for him. He also appreciates his parents' hard work and support. His parents continually encourage him to advance and support him in achieving his goals.
Sarthak claims that practicing basketball helps him with his academics too since it relieves tension and allows him to do better in class. It also helps him keep his mind fresh, strengthen his body, boost his stamina, and excel in other tasks. Basketball also teaches him teamwork, self-sufficiency, and coordinating with others.
Sarthak Sen has competed in two cluster events and two school-level SGFI tournaments. The cluster was conducted last year in Indore at Mount Litera Zee School, and he also competed in the nationals in Agra, where he won first place. He competed in one international game, the Indo-Nepal Championship, and placed second. He has also been picked to the Under-17 squad for the forthcoming cluster tournaments.
According to Sarthak, SAGE International School is an excellent institution for both sports and academics. After enrolling here, he was able to improve his athletic abilities from his previous school. He also admires the school's instructors' dedication, support, and instructional methods. Besides studying, he enjoys playing basketball, cycling, strolling, and listening to music. His favorite hobbies are playing basketball and listening to music, which help him relieve tension. The saying "If you want to shine like the sun, first burn like the sun" constantly inspires him to work hard. He wants to shine the brightest and be the finest version of himself. He encourages other young people to participate in any activity they enjoy in order to develop a strong body and to find inner peace.
