After exploring many games, Tashree drew inspiration from her father and found her calling in Boxing. She has several achievements to her name and aspires to make a good career in the sport. Tashree puts a strong emphasis on sports as she thinks it helps people attain physical fitness and stay more active.
Tashree Menaria is a youngstar who began practicing boxing at the age of five. She fought her first tournament in 2018. She says that boxing is a sport that keeps her fit and motivates her to hone her skills. Initially, she started boxing as a hobby, but later she developed an interest in the sport by looking at her father who used to do boxing in his army service. Later on, her interest started increasing while practicing. She also practiced boxing for a year at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Tashree says that she began boxing when she was five and is taking training under Narpat Singh at HRV (Hemraj Ji Rashtriya Vyayam Shala) and Pankaj Chaudhary at RCKK Academy of Martial Arts. Her coach inspires and guides her like her parents. She also practices Boxing under Vijay sir at SMS stadium when she visits Jaipur. She says that all her coaches motivate her and guide her to develop her personality and skills and grow better in her sport. Talking about her role models, Tashree says that her coaches and her parents are her role models, and she gets really inspired by the great boxers Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali.
A state and national-level boxing player, Tashree believes that boxing keeps a person physically fit. There are four types of punches in this game namely straight, jab, cross, and uppercut. Tashree further adds about the game by saying that, in boxing, there are various stages, first a person needs to compete at the district level, then at the state level, and then at the nationals. Also, there are boxing camps, where there are trials for international-level competitions. The international level is the final level which includes the Olympics, the Asian Championships, and more.
Tashree played her first tournament in Kota and won a silver medal in the State Level Boxing Championship in 2018. Also, she won a gold medal in the SGFI National Level Tournament. Throughout her course in the game, she has played five nationals and has won two gold medals and one bronze medal. Also, Tashree has won many medals in state-level tournaments. Tashree is also a Brown Belt holder in Karate. Tashree got a bravery award in Delhi at the age of eight for saving the life of a five-year-old kid who was drowning in a water tank.
Tashree feels that boxing is a game of self-confidence and one needs to consistently practice in order to improve their skills, self-defense, moves, and more. In boxing, one needs to know how to attack and defend at the same time. Apart from boxing, Tashree also plays Karate and is soon going to fight for a Black Belt in a few months. Tashree says that she considers the deity Laddu Gopal as her brother and believes he guides her in every moment of her life.
