An enthusiastic yoga practitioner, Vansh Paliwal is currently a tenth grade student at The Stanvard Senior Secondary School in Udaipur, Rajasthan. His exceptional performances at both district and state-level yoga championships have earned him widespread recognition across the state. A creative and diligent student, Vansh has also explored diverse fields such as graphic designing, video editing, and photo editing. His dedication and eagerness to learn reflect his commitment to personal growth and his aspiration to become a better individual.
At the age of 10, Vansh began practicing yoga under the guidance of his father, who introduced him to its mental, physical, and spiritual benefits. Since then, he has immersed himself in yoga, consistently refining his techniques and enhancing his skills. His natural curiosity also inspires him to explore new interests, with each new skill strengthening his confidence further.
Vansh draws inspiration from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, whom he regards as an extraordinary role model. He deeply admires Dr. Kalam’s humility, intellect, visionary spirit, and unwavering dedication to the nation. Dr. Kalam’s legacy motivates Vansh to dream big and pursue excellence in every aspect of life.
Mastery in yoga depends greatly on body awareness. Understanding one’s body positioning is essential for maintaining proper alignment and avoiding injuries. Patience plays a crucial role in progress, as pushing too hard for flexibility can often lead to setbacks. Recognizing when to advance and when to rest is a defining skill that separates accomplished practitioners from beginners.
Vansh proudly recalls his journey in competitive yoga, beginning with district-level competitions in Udaipur and progressing to securing an impressive 4th position at the state-level championship held in Sri Ganga Nagar, Rajasthan. Additionally, he participated in the yoga competition at Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, in 2024, where he achieved a prestigious gold medal. Beyond yoga, he also represented his team in a district-level cricket competition the same year, where they secured an admirable 3rd position.
Outside of yoga, Vansh enjoys video editing, graphic design, and photo editing—creative pursuits that allow him to express himself and share his talents with friends and family. He credits much of his motivation to his teacher, Khushi Ma’am, whose constant encouragement has significantly influenced his yoga journey. He concludes with an inspiring quote: “Success comes to those who never give up, learn something every day, and grow stronger.”
