A talented youngstar from India International School, Vidhan not only participates in various Olympiads to demonstrate his academic excellence, but is also excelling in various sports activities and other hobbies.

The Initiation

Vidhan participated in an Olympiad - Logiqids when he was in UKG and secured the second rank. Thereafter, after getting promoted to the first standard, he began participating in the SOF Olympiads and gradually developed his interest in the same. Vidhan is also a sportsperson and says that Football is his passion. He also is engaged in Skating which has helped him increase his focus.

Gurus & Role Models

Vidhan learns football from BBFS - Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools under the guidance of his coaches Yash and Kishan. He learns the keyboard from his father. He considers his mother as his guru for all his academic achievements and his coach Praveen as his guru for skating. He gets football training at ASL Football Academy under the guidance of Bhanu Sir and Gaurav Sir. He learns chess for Ashok Solanki. Vidhan says that his parents are his role models who taught him to be patient in critical situations, to be honest, and value time.

The Talent

SOF Olympiads are competitive exams held in five subjects namely English, Math, Science, General Knowledge, Social Studies, and Cyber. Vidhan says that these olympiads are the stepping stones for future competitive exams. Vidhan also plays Football and Chess and also does Skating. Football being a team game helps him increase his sense of teamwork and communication. Skating helps him increase his concentration and balance which is the reason he is able to manage all his tasks in one day. Chess is a mind game that has helped him work on his memory.

Achievements

Vidhan has participated in many SOF Olympiads. He secured second rank in the Logiqids Olympiad and International Rank Three in the National Science Olympiad. He won his first medal in the BabyLeague Sport Football Tournament and also won the title of the Man of the Match in 2022. He has also received two gold medals in skating. Also, he received five medals in the SOF Olympiads in 2022.

A Bit More

In his free time, Vidhan loves spending time on solving reasoning and problem-solving questions. His favorite subject is Science for the reason it is a logical subject. He has participated in NSO - National Science Olympiad, IEO - International English Olympiad, IGKO - International General Knowledge Olympiad, IMO - International Mathematics Olympiad, ISSO - International Social Studies Olympiad, and NCO - National Cyber Olympiad. He says that he manages time for his academics and other hobbies very well with the support of his parents. To other youngsters like him, Vidhan says, “Follow your dreams as your dreams won’t work until you work hard.” There is no substitute for hard work, says Vidhan. The quote that inspires and motivates him is “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.”
