A dedicated table tennis player, Vivek took a two-year break from the game but returned with a bang. He has played in the nationals and believes it is the ideal game for improving both mental and physical fitness.
Vivek initially played gymnastics till when he was in the fifth grade and then he started playing table tennis in 2016 under the guidance of his guru Amit Thanvi.
Vivek got training in playing table tennis from his coach Amit Thanvi and practiced daily at the Railway Stadium. Amit always motivates and encourages him to play well in the future. Vivek’s role models are his parents as they always support him.
Vivek says that there are various benefits of playing table tennis like it enhances your reflexes, concentration, and accuracy. It is also helpful in improving your physical health.
Vivek played in the West Zone University-level tournaments in 2021. He also participated in the National Championship in Jammu & Kashmir.
Vivek completed his schooling from Adarsh Vidhya Mandir in Jodhpur. He is currently pursuing BCA from Lachoo Memorial College, Jodhpur. Vivek advises that one should participate in sports that they are interested in. Physical games are more useful than internet games because they promote physical and mental well-being. The quote “Good things take time” motivates him the most.
