Playing basketball since a year ago, Vivena Jain believes basketball keeps you mentally fit, increases height, and develops new skills in you. Vivena advises youngsters to focus on outdoor games for physical and mental health improvement.
Vivena Jain, a student of St. Gregorios School began playing basketball a year ago when her school PTI observed her game and motivated her to move forward in this field.
Vivena says that her coach Usha Acharaj in Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon is a great coach and always motivates her to improve her game and participate in more tournaments. Her role model is her mother who supported her and motivated her to play basketball.
Vivena says that basketball keeps us mentally fit, helps in increasing our height, and develops new skills in us.
With just one year of practice, Vivena has participated in the State Level Tournament along with many open district competitions.
Vivena says that whoever wants to join sports, should avoid using gadgets and focus more on outdoor games as it will help them improve their physical and mental health. “Boys invented basketball, but girls perfected it” is the quote that inspires her the most.
