Yashwant Dangi has been playing cricket for the last seven to eight years. Talking about his beginning in the sport, he says that he used to play cricket near his residence and when his father noticed his talent, he sent him to Wonder Cement Cricket Academy and since then he has been practicing there.
Yashwant practices cricket at the Wonder Cement Cricket Academy under the mentoring of his head coach Manoj Choudhary. Describing his parents and his coaches as his role models, Yashwant says that they always motivate him a lot for his journey in sports.
Speaking about the benefits of cricket, Yashwant says that this sport brings discipline in one's life. Some of the other benefits that this sport offers is providing you with fitness and social connections.
Yashwant has participated in the National Inter-School Under-17 Cricket Tournament. He also was the captain of his school’s Under-17 cricket team. He has also participated in the School Level National Cricket Tournament.
Yashwant advises the newcomers to engage themselves in some or the other sport as it will help them with their physical and mental strengths. Also, youngsters should keep themselves away from other unnecessary distractions. The thought “You can do it” serves as a source of inspiration for him.
